About IMPACT:
IMPACT provides FREE prostate cancer treatment to California residents throughout the state who qualify for the program.
IMPACT provides a variety of free prostate cancer treatments, including:
- Active surveillance
- Hormone therapy
- Brachytherapy
- Chemotherapy
- External beam radiation therapy
- Radical prostatectomy
- Nurse case management
IMPACT is:
- A partnership between UCLA Urology and California Department of Health Care Services
- The largest program of its kind in the country
- A FREE source of treatment offered to Californians with prostate cancer
Who is Eligible:
- California resident, living anywhere in the state
- 18 years of age or older
- Currently have little or no health insurance

Income currently at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (click here for details)
- Have an abnormal DRE or elevated PSA
- Have been told by a doctor that you have prostate cancer

IMPACT partners with community providers, local health departments, and other community-based health organizations to establish a growing network of health facilities statewide that evaluate and treat patients in their local communities.
